The world renowned pianist Lang Lang sent a love letter to the city of New York in the form of a concert. "New York Rhapsody" was held on May 3rd at the Rose Theater inside the Jazz and Lincoln Center and featured powerful performances from Lang Lang himself along with other celebrity musicians. The line up included Rufus Wainwright and Suzanne Vega. Most noteworthy was the performance by Lang Lang and Lindsey Stirling. Stirling, a crossover classical violinist and YouTube sensation, wowed the crowd in a custom designed Edmond Newton gown. The gown had all the elements of a signature Edmond Newton design - it was glamorous, beautiful and sexy! The 29-year-old California native performed with vigor beneath the stage lights causing the metallic accents on her fitted black gown to glisten mystically while her auburn hair gave the overall look a passionate fire. PBS will broadcast the performance later this year on a program titled "Live from Lincoln Center".
